Mr. JOSEPH PETER
Mr. Joseph Peter, holds Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Muhumbili University Faculty of Medicine, Dar es Salaam.
Mr. Joseph has worked as HIV Lab coordinator, Regional Laboratory Technologist, Team Leader of HIV prevalence inspection as well as inspector of private health laboratory facilities and private facilities dealing with medical laboratory equipment and reagents to ensure quality health service to the Tanzania community for more than 30 years.
As a retired laboratory technologist and health care quality controller, Mr. Joseph’s dream was to start a non for profit organization which will enable him to use his qualification and experience to improve quality health care given to mothers and children in rural hospitals through advocacy, sensitization and capacity building as well as creating awareness of the right and responsibilities of the patient in any medical facility.
Being a founder member of MET, Mr Joseph brings in vast knowledge and experience of the gaps seen in health care facilities and have passion of advocating quality and reliable health care services in rural areas of Tanzania
