WASH is very important for building national and local government capacity to meet the needs of women and girls. WASH services are critical for meeting the basic needs of women and girls in humanitarian and fragile contexts, the effects of a lack of clean water and decent toilets are felt most by women and girls. Investing in WASH is one of the basic human needs and realizing the health and rights of women and girls. Meaning by coordinating our work on these three areas, we can have a bigger impact on improving community health and well being.
