Dr. DANIEL NKUNGU
Dr. Daniel Nkungu holds MD degree from Hubert Kairuki Memorial University (HKMU) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and has a Master’s degree of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynecology of Dalian University, in Dalian-China.
Having served at Mwananyamala Regional Referral Hospital as a medical Specialist Specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a hospital director at Mwananyamala and Morogoro Regional Referral Hospitals on different tenure, Dr Nkungu has engaged with hundreds and thousands women, who are always narrating their stories about the struggle they face in handling their day to day affairs especially on matters pertaining to their reproductive health.
Dr. Nkungu is a founder member of Mama Enlightenment Tanzania (MET) whose passion is to support the effort of lightening the mother and girl child’s burden in the community through education, capacity building and innovation on matters pertaining to reproductive health and livelihood.
